This single item collection consists of a letter dated April 7, 1813, to Thomas Todd from William Creighton. The letter discusses the sale of a seven hundred acre tract of land located in Fleming County, Kentucky. The land was offered for sale to settle a tax debt for Creighton. The letter is asking Todd to redeem the land and have the transfer made legal so he would not owe taxes on land that was no longer his property.
